Super duper excited for my new Fit Planner~

I have a really bad habit of starting something and never finishing it. I’m sure some of you know what I’m talking about.

You start a new workout plan or a diet. Or you think to yourself, “Maybe I’ll start building that treehouse for my kids.” Maybe even something as simple as, “I’ll start watching Game of Thrones from season 1 now since I’m the only one who hasn’t seen the series yet!” (The last one is something I’m totally guilty of.)

But what happens halfway through any of those feats? YA GIVE UP.

I know this because I started to watch Game of Thrones and stopped at season 1, episode2 because, well, it didn’t catch my attention. I’m sorry, but it just didn’t. And please don’t give me a laundry list of reasons why I should watch GoT because I’ll probably start it and end it after reading Reason #2.

Anyway, the point of this post is to try to get me into maintaining a habit that will stick throughout the rest of the year. You’ve read my goals. If I want to keep all those goals, I think something that will help me be successful is keeping up these habits to bring me closer to the goals.

One thing that I invested in is a Blogilates Fit Planner. If you don’t know who or what Blogilates is, it is one of my favorite fitness blogs and YouTube channels. When I first started my fitness journey and I’d be too lazy to hit the gym, I would go to YouTube and find any kind of workout videos to help me stay fit. The first one I found was a video called “Pop Pilates: Beyonce Bootylicious Bum Butt Badonkadonk Bonanza” and I was hooked. The music playing in the background was entertaining, the workout was intense but doable, and most of all, the host, Cassey Ho, talked so much that it distracted me from the pain of working out my bubble butt.

Long story short: I loved Blogilates (the brand and YouTube channel), Pop Pilates (the workout program under Blogilates), and Cassey Ho. Cassey has expanded Blogilates to more than workout videos and a fit food vlog. She opened up a merchandise shop complete with Pop Pilates clothes, yoga mats, water bottles, and yes, a fit planner. I’ve always wanted one of her fit planners, but I also always opted for cheaper planners instead.

Well, this year, I got what I wanted because I am an independent woman who don’t need no man to buy her things. I bought it myself. So I introduce to you, my 2018 Rose Gold Fit Planner by Blogilates…which is now sold out. 🙂

Look how pretty it is~

Here is how it glistens. Look at that rose gold!

You can’t really see it, but in these pages, you can set your goals and aspirations for the year. It has a section for long-term goals, short-term goals, your wildest dreams. It even asks what person you eventually wanna see yourself as.

This is another fun page. It asks you to list things you want to improve on, your favorite quote to look back on, and where you want to travel. The part that is covered by my pen is super personal because it asks what is holding you back. It also asks you to sign it if you’re ready to let go. And as you can tell with my shoddy signature there, I was ready to let that ish go.

This is the monthly page. You have birthdays, events, monthly goals, and a self-care section on the bottom.

The only section I filled out here is the Personal Mantra part.

This is the Weekly page. It’s a little hard to see, but I’ll explain. Each day of the week is broken down by each hour of the day to easily write out appointments. On the bottom, from left to right is The week’s goals, “Don’t Forget”, “Self-compliment”, and “Random thought”. The dark purple column on the right is for groceries.

Going from the Weekly to the Daily pages.

Daily pages have a water consumption tracker that you can color in, boxes to write what you had for each meal, a To-Do list for the day, number of hours you slept, and what workout you did. I’m currently doing the 21-Day Fix program with BeachBody on Demand. Also, on the top, I wrote the month’s personal mantra so I shall not forget as the days pass on.

At the end of each month is a Habit Tracker page. You can write which habits you’d like to improve on and cross out the days you’ve done them to keep easy tabs on it. I have four and only am successful at two.

At the end of the month is a reflection of the month. It asks you A) What made you feel motivated, 2) What did you learn, 3) Special moments, 4) any challenges, 5) what you’re grateful for, and 6) how you can make the next month even better. This is a good way to monitor monthly progress, especially for keeping fit!

At the end of the year, there are two pages where you do another recap of the year to see how far you’ve come. It basically asks for your accomplishments, adventures, memories, lessons, etc. You can even write if you achieved your goals.

What I also like about this planner is that it comes with a two-sided pocket page. I keep an index card with my goals (from my blog post) and stickers to use for my diary. Such a pretty planner.

All in all, this Fit Planner is aesthetically pleasing. I love the sections for the beginning and the end of the year and the month. I’m sure this will be the biggest tool to help me maintain my health/fitness goals. Well, I mean, besides the actual exercise and diet. But I’ll do a monthly update and share my end-of-month recaps with you in future posts.

The only thing I wish for is more notes pages to write wandering thoughts and more To-Dos. But that is all right because I have other notebooks for that.

I 100% would recommend you get your hands on one next year if you’re interested.
